Fruit picking fun

Chuncheng's family has farmed for generations. At home there is a two-story Western-style courtyard house that is practically a village landmark. When a classmate first saw it, he exclaimed "Ashe!" (young master), so when he thought of a name for his farm, he chose "Ashe Orchard."

"She" means house or home. Every crop grown at Ashe Orchard is like a family member, and we treat the crops and the people who taste them with the same heart we give our family.

She = home, Ashe Orchard = family. We hope to share our truest, sweetest fruit with everyone~

As soon as you enter the front door, you see a plaque hanging high, showing that Papa Qiu is a highly skilled ginger farmer. But Chuncheng went to work in Taipei when he was very young. After years of working 16 hours a day, he thought: if he ever collapsed, the boss would simply replace him, so why not go home and do what he wanted?

After returning home he found the scenery of his childhood had changed: no fish or shrimp in the stream, and heavy use of herbicides. Besides setting the goal of friendly farming, he began thinking about what to plant. Zhuqi is mountainous and better suited to fruit, so he started by taking over his father's jujube orchard, stopped using chemicals from the second season, and gradually settled on various passion fruit varieties as his main products. He also learned grafting himself and sells fig seedlings. Chuncheng says his ideas and methods are all different from his father's, so no one could teach him and he had to learn on his own.

Along the way he took classes and learned about organic certification and the Green Conservation label of the Tzu Chi foundation, and found he identified more with the Green Conservation philosophy, focusing on managing the ecology. So for the first 3 years the farm had no great harvests, and he still farms part-time.
