Hongzhan Farm covers 3,600 ping, of which about 1,200 ping is planted with bitter melon. In the salty soil of Budai grow sweet "Budai Bitter Melon," praised by everyone who tries it. The farm works to promote food and farming education, giving visitors the chance to try handmade fun such as making bitter melon pickles themselves.
