Event introduction
To "balance north and south and share culture equitably," the Executive Yuan approved on 2004/12/15 the establishment of the National Palace Museum Southern Branch in Taibao City, Chiayi County, with the goal of "two shining cultural stars in north and south, achieving equal access to art."
The Southern Branch is planned and designed with a contemporary museum approach. Its exhibitions display National Palace Museum collections and add an Asian cultural perspective to enrich how artifacts are interpreted. The spacious, comfortable outdoor grounds and lively educational programs let visitors approach culture and art from different angles.
★ Little Museum Staff experience ~ role play: ticketing × security × guiding × restoration ★
The Children's Creative Center is a permanent children's education space designed for kids. It presents exhibition themes through touch experiences, multimedia interactive installations, craft experiences, costume experiences and painting game apps to spark children's interest in learning and interact with the Southern Branch's exhibitions. Century 21 emphasizes "participatory museum experiences," so the Little Museum Staff activity was specially designed to let young visitors learn the key points of museum public service through role play in a fun and educational way.
